This introduction to Mariemont Community Church
MCC will offer a seven-session seminar, Sundays from 9:15 to 10:30 a.m. beginning May 18 and running through June 29.
The seminar is open to all who would like to know more about MCC's history, purpose, governance and statement of faith, and is required for those considering formal membership in MCC.
The seminar's sessions include:
1. History, purpose and governance of MCC.
2. Statement of faith.
3. We worship. Definition and scope of Biblical worship and MCC's approach to individual and corporate worship.
4. We serve. Place of service in Christian discipleship and discussion of service opportunities inside and outside of MCC.
5. We invite. Exploration of the Great Commission and our role in inviting others to enter Jesus' kingdom and become his apprentices.
6. We grow. The Biblical process of spiritual growth: God's role and ours.
7. We connect. The role of fellowship and community in the Christian's walk and how to connect within MCC.
Each session will be led by one of MCC's elders and you'll have a chance to meet all of the elders and pastors over the course of the seminar.
Those choosing to become formal members of MCC will meet with an elder in addition to the seven Sunday morning sessions.
There’s no obligation or expectation that seminar participants will seek membership at the conclusion of the seminar.
Childcare is available during the sessions.
